Tanya Galla is exited to be teaching the three day three year old program.
She holds a B.S. degree in Marketing but has found more joy in the preschool teaching world! She has had the privilege to work with 3 year olds for over 8 years and has raised 4 wonderful children with her husband of 25 years. She believes in nurturing the ever so curious preschool mind by providing a stimulating environment for each child to explore, learn, and grow! Come grow with us!
Jean Tilanus
Three’s Teacher
My name is Jean Tilanus. I am very excited to develop a warm and exiting relationship with your child this year!
I am a South African, busy applying for American citizenship and have lived in Charlotte for 5 years. I have 2 sons, Michael and Jonathan. Michael lives in Australia and Jonathan lives in Canada. Both my sons are Mechanical Engineers. Naturally I miss them but Skype is a wonderful thing that keeps us closely in touch with each other. I have 3 grandchildren whom I love dearly as well!
My hobbies are reading and sewing. In South Africa I used to sew for customers and enjoyed making wedding dresses and prom dresses! I attend Prosperity Presbyterian Church. It is a small Church with a good “family” feel to it.
Prosperity Preschool is a very warm, enthusiastic, and loving atmosphere and I look forward to being involved in your child’s social and academic development throughout the year!
Jamie Ortscheid
Four’s Teacher
My name is Jamie Ortscheid. I look forward to starting a new adventure and developing relationships with your children in the four year old classroom.
I will do my best to make preschool a fun environment for your children to lean the skills needed to succeed in kindergarten. First, let me tell you a little about myself and my family. I was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I attended Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. After graduating I got married and moved to Charleston, South Carolina. I have worked about 15 years in the hospitality field doing every job imaginable, with different brands, in different states, and with different companies. After having children I decided to stay home and volunteer at their school. This was a very fun time for me to get involved with their school and see them in their learning environment. After volunteering for a year, one of the teachers approached me and told me that I should take a class and become a substitute teacher, so that's what I did. I have been subbing for the last four years at Odell and Boger Elementary schools in Cabarrus county. Some of the hobbies include: reading, puzzling, gardening, and playing volleyball. My husband Tim and met in college and we have been happily married for nineteen years and counting. We have two children, Tyler, our son is about to turn 16 in September, and Mackenzie who is 12 years old. Tyler is about to drive which is a little scary, he is going into 10th grade, strives to get all A's, and loves football. Mackenzie is going into 7th grade, also strives to get all A's, and has a love for basketball. Our family is very active and enjoy sports, hiking, traveling, and family game nights! Our family attends Mecklenburg Community Church and miss going in person.

Mrs. Bella is a mother and is raising three amazing children ( 10, 6, and 2 years old) with her husband of 12 years. She loves to read and enjoys spending time with her family. She is excited to meet your family and looking forward to creating a supportive learning environment for your precious child.
